Is Event Cricket free?
Yes. Create calendar files and links without an account.
What is an .ics file?
A standard calendar file containing your event details. Open or import it in your calendar app and confirm you want to add it.
How do time zones work?
Choose the event time zone. Event Cricket converts the time to UTC. Your guest’s calendar then displays it in their own time zone.
Will a shared event update automatically?
No. Files and links contain the details at the time they were created. For changes, send a new file or link and ask guests to replace the old entry.
Do you send invitations or collect registrations?
No. You download the file or share the link yourself. This version does not send emails or collect registrations.
Can I create an all-day or multi-day event?
Yes. Enable All day and choose the first and last day. For timed events, use a later end date when the event spans midnight.
Will everyone see the right local time?
Timed events are converted from the chosen time zone to UTC. The recipient’s calendar displays its local equivalent. Check the selected event time zone before sharing.
Are reminders included?
The .ics download can contain a reminder. The recipient’s calendar may ignore or replace it. Google and Outlook links use the service’s own reminder settings.
Why does copying or sharing fail?
Support depends on the browser, HTTPS and permissions. A manual copy window is available when copying is blocked. The calendar file remains available as a download.
